The pictures from the technical council of the performance “Man, beast and virtue” are ready. Production designer Alexander Mokhov presented drafts of theater sets and costumes (designed by Maria Lucca) to managers and heads of workshops. At the moment there is a table period of rehearsals.

The rehearsals of L. Pirandello’s comedy “Man, beast and virtue” started. Production director Peter Shereshevsky (at the “Red Torch” he staged the following performances: “Duck fowling” by A.Vampilov and “The last Don Guan love” by E.-E. Schmitt). In the leading roles: Oleg Majboroda, Irina Krivonos and Konstantin Teleguin. Premiere in September.

We started to work on “Hedda Gabler” by H. Ibsen. The story about a women-mystery that was created more than 100 years ago will be produced in a contemporary and trendy style. You will see the premi?re on May 15th; the first photographs are already available (please take a look at them on the performance page).

The tour of Alexandrinsky Theater will take place the stage of the “Red Torch” in June. They will perform “The Marriage” by Nikolai Gogol play. Tickets are already on sale. Note: You can only get them at the ticket-offices of the “Red Torch” (Lenin-st., 19, TC Zolotaya Niva, TC Continent, Metro Studencheskaya) and at distributors. The performance will take place on June 10 and 11, the ticket price — from 400 to 1.500 rubles.

The online-sale for the performances of the Second Interregional Festival of the theatres of Siberia, the Urals and the Far East, “New Siberian Transit” is open. From 19 to 29 May best performances, theater experts gathered in the vast territory of Russia, will come to Novosibirsk . Many of the performances are members of the National Theatre Festival “Golden Mask”. For some, “New Siberian Transit” will be the first theatrical event. Each of them (and the more the better) is worth seeing. Today it is the most interesting thing that happens in the theater outside the center of the country. On April 7 and 8 Eugenia Turkova will play Nina in the performance “Masquerade” at the last time. She started to play this role while a student of the “Red Torch” course of Novosibirsk Theatre Institute. Then she joined the “Red Torch”, played in six plays, starred in two movies, and now she continues her career in Moscow.
