He finished GITIS, director’s department.

His works: «Don Juan» by Moliere (Russian Drama Theatre in Yerevan), «The Wedding» by Gogol (Chicago, USA), «Caress» by S. Belbel («Debut Center», Moscow), «Stripped» by J. Kazas («Independent Antreprise», Moscow), «Orpheus and Eurydice» by J. Anouilh, E. Boyakov (RAMT, Moscow), «In the Pupil of the Eye» by M. Kurochkin (Pushkin Drama theatre, Moscow) etc.

Uri Urnov took part in the seminars and workshops in USA, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Holland.

In the «Red Torch» he also staged: «Grand Magic» by E. de Filippo (2002), «Lisistrata SE» be Aristophanes (2003).
