Andrei Andreyev

    He finished Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS) (M.O. Knebel’ course). At the present moment he is a teacher in St. Petersburg Drama Academy.

    His works: «Creation of the world. Part I and II» by E. Lennrott, «The Union of Hypocrites» by Michael Bulgakov, «Cruel Games» by A. Arbuzov, «The Widows» Steamer" by I. Grekova and P. Lungin, «Snow Maiden» by A. Ostrovsky, «Measure for measure» by W. Shakespeare, Hella Wuolijoki «Niskavuori» (public sympathy prize of the XI International Theatrical Festival «Baltic House», the year 2001), etc;

    He was awarded by «Onejen mask» prize in the season 1999/2000 as the best director of the year.
